Please be kind on the road up to the club

The weekend is starting and the road to the club will again be very busy. PLEASE BE A GOOD NEIGHBOUR AND BE PATIENT ON THE DRIVE UP. Cyclists and pedestrians need to use the road to access the park and do not always have a clear path as there is no separate pedestrian or bike path. Recently we have had reports of conflict on the road. Reacting in anger can reflect on the club in general. Slow down, pay attention to others on the road and turn the other cheek. When in the parking lot also please have a word with hikers who think they can park and then go to the park. Our parking lot is for OUR users only. Warn them that their car can be towed and/or locked behind the gate – leading to some upset conversations!
