PCDHFC offers a number of courses that are required for club participation as well as some open to the general public as their entry into the world of hunting and shooting. Members are required to take the New Members Course to familiarize themselves with our safety rules. The Range User Certified course is taken in order to qualify to use the lower ranges as self-supervised range officers. CFSC / CFRSC are the two courses required by law for a firearms users in Canada to possess, acquire and transfer firearms. The CORE or Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Education is the required safety course to learn about hunting ethically and legally in BC.
