Hatchery Year in Review

Our hard working hatchery volunteers at the Grist Goesen Memorial Hatchery have been making great progress in maintaining our wild fish stocks. Highlights include large releases of Coho and Chinook in the Coquitlam River and Cedar Creek. Read about their efforts in this excellent report.

Hi All, Burke Mountain had 10 participants in this year’s provincials in Quesnel. Of the ten we saw eight medals. Gold went to JOP cadet Sam Groves as well as a provincial record for his category. Caribou and moose hunting proposed to be closed in Region 7 (Peace Region)
