John Martin, a PCDHFC Life Member, passed away in January 2026. John was a long time volunteer and board member from the early days of the club until the 1990’s, and continued as a volunteer at our hatchery almost up to 2020. He was Building Chairman when Range 7 and most other buildings that exist today were built, chaired Senior .22 and worked at the hatchery for almost 40 years. His name is on some of the trophies in the clubhouse.
Our condolences and sympathies go to his family, and Shirley, his wife, who is also a Life Member and was Treasurer for many many years from the 70’s to the 80’s. John and Shirley were one of the power couples that literally laid the foundation for the club as we know it today.
