The Port Coquitlam & District Hunting and Fishing Club is a professionally-run outdoor shooting range providing facilities for members, their guests and renters ranging from law enforcement agencies, private training groups and visiting shooting sports competitors. We operate under the Federal regulations governing range operation.
Traveling to PCDHFC
PCDHFC is the closest outdoor rifle range to Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Richmond and all the Tri-Cities. Easily accessible by car, PCDHFC is located on the slope of Burke Mountain via Coast Meridian and Harper Road next to Burke Pinecone Provincial Park. We have a large maintained parking lot free for all range users. Our address is 5000 Upper Harper Rd. Coquitlam, BC.

Who can visit PCDHFC
Members – PCDHFC is currently open to new members with different options for individuals, families, juniors and seniors. Please visit our Membership Page for more information. Members must take the New Members Course to learn our safety protocols. If you are interested in becoming a member you can visit the range during range hours and observe and you can talk to our staff at any time.
Guests – Guests are welcome under supervision of members in good standing at any time during regular range hours and must share a lane with a member while shooting. Under Canadian law, anyone who does not possess a valid firearms license must be directly supervised by a licensee. A limit of two people can occupy a bench at a time (others may observe from the rear of the range).
Public Drop In – THERE IS NO PUBLIC DROP-IN.
Renters – PCDHFC provides range time to outside agencies and organizations including the RCMP, VPD, Port Moody PD, The Justice Institute of BC., BC Conservation Officer Service and a variety of other law enforcement who conduct drills on our lower ranges. Police training is not open for observation to the public.
Competitions – PCDHFC hosts regular competitions in IPSC, LEAP, PPC, Trap & Skeet, 3-Gun and Archery. Visiting competitor’s insurance is incorporated in their event fee.
Banquet Hall renters – PCDHFC’s large club house is available for rental for weddings, parties, meetings and class space.
Range Staff
For your safety, PCDHFC employs a number of trained range staff who are responsible for ensuring that all shooting activities on the range follow our government mandated safety protocols. Our range staff are trained not only in safe firearms handling but have first aid training. First aid supplies are accessible by every range and are marked by signage.
