Weeknight practice: First Thursday of the month. Setup starts at 6pm on Range 1. Match fee is $10 for members, and an additional $10 for a day card for non-members. This is a 2-Gun practice for PISTOL AND RIMFIRE calibers only.
Weekend Practice: Schedule TBD
Training: We encourage all shooters to get DSS CASE Qualified, even though it it is not a requirement for our practices. DSS runs awesome matches (many of them at PCDHFC) and their CASE qualifier course will make sure you have the skills to safely and competently shoot competitively.
Equipment
We aim to accommodate all shooters regardless of their firearms or equipment, however there are some minimum requirements we need you to bring with you:
- Hearing protection.
- Wraparound and Safety Rated Eye Protection. You need proper eye protection as we often shoot steel.
- Chamber flags for all guns. We have some loaners available.
- Firearms and ammo appropriate for our practices. We recommend 100+ rounds for each platform to be safe. If we're shooting shotgun 25-50 rounds of target loads should be sufficient. No magnum pistol cartridges as we often shoot steel.
- 2+ magazines for each firearm (3+ if using 5rd magazines)
- Active footwear, clothing for the weather, and other considerations such water and food.
- Magazine pouches are recommended
- If you do not have a pistol you are welcome to shoot rimfire or PCC rifle in place of one.
