PCDHFC and Eat Wild will be offering the CFSC / CRFSC Canadian Firearms Safety Course Non-Restricted / Restricted Courses
The CFSC / CRFSC are the required courses needed to be eligible for a non-restricted (most rifles and shotguns) and restricted firearms (handguns and some rifles) license in Canada. Learn how to safely own, store and transport firearms and be informed what regulations and laws must be adhered to. A valid firearms license is needed to possess firearms and is needed to purchase ammunition. Having a license may be a requirement for some occupations.
All materials will be provided and no preparation is necessary. The course instruction includes classroom learning and practical demonstration with deactivated firearms. At the end of the course the instructor will administer a written and practical exam. With the results, the successful student will be able to submit an application to the Canadian Firearms Program in order to be vetted for a license.
