Public Range (Range 7) – 200 Yard Rifle Range
The 200 Yard Rifle Range has a large covered shelter with 22 shooting positions for rifle and shotgun (slug only) shooters. Target stands are provided at 7, 15, 25, 50, 100 and 200 yards. It also has a warm-up room, restroom facilities for men and women and overhead heaters.
Our range is run by full time trained professionals who are in attendance on the public range during the club’s open hours. They are available to sell day passes, to answer questions about PCDHFC, and to ensure that all our members and guests have a safe and enjoyable experience on the range.
Range 7 is approved for Rifle and Shotgun (Slugs Only).
- Rifle – Any caliber up to and including .338 Lapua (Not approved .50 BMG)
- Shotgun – Slugs Only on Range #7
- Ammunition – no tracer or armour-piercing
- Surplus FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) and Steel Core ammunition is approved.
Pistol / Rimfire Range (Range 10) – 25 yard range
Range 10 is our newest 30m range which is available under supervision of ROs on request and to Range User Course certified members (RUC) as self-supervised ranges. This range has an assortment of steel targets set out for pistol and rimfire and with cease fires allows placement of user’s paper targets. To use Range 10, speak to a Range Officer at Range 7. If you are an RUC-certified member, please sign in and speak to a Range Officer the same as you would for Range 3-6. If you are NOT an RUC member, please CALL AHEAD to the Range office at 604-942-9736 to see if there are Range Officers available that day to supervise. Unfortunately, staffing issues may not always mean R10 is open.
Please note: Limited supplies of Eye Protection, Hearing Protection and Staplers are available for sale. Please bring your own to be sure.
