The club Police Pistol Competition (PPC) is going strong on the third Saturday of each month. This is a great way for new shooters, that are holster qualified, to learn holster and shooting skills while training at their own level.
Gord Tremblay and Mark Horsley coach these sessions both have been competing in PPC matches and instructing for years. In 2019, representing Team Canada, Mark won a gold medal in the two man revolver team event at the world championships in Australia.
These sessions are a great starting point for new shooters or seasoned shooters looking to enhance their skills, then to move on to any competitive or advanced hand gun activities such as LEAP, IPSC or PPC.
In 2020 the PPC Committee shoot day will switch from the third Saturday to the third Sunday of the month. This will be reflected on the Club calendar on the website.
