The Al Grist, BC Hydro Environment Scholarship Award
To: All Secondary Schools in School District 43.
Terry Fox, Charles Best, Heritage Woods, Centennial, Gleneagle, Riverside, Pinetree, Port Moody, and Archbishop Carney.
The Port Coquitlam and District Hunting & Fishing Club and BC Hydro will offer a $500 Scholarship named The Al Grist, BC Hydro Environment Award to a student who meets the requirements below:
We ask all candidates to send to us:
An outline of his/her intended path of study
A list of his/her qualifications and community service
Recommendations from his/her teachers, mentors, etc.
A 500 word essay of what he/she believes he/she can do to help the environment and what he/she feels needs to be done.
When the club receives a receipt that the student has enrolled in a university full-time, the Club will forward the award monies.
Please send all applications that meet the above requirements before May 1, each year to:
