Trap & Skeet at PCDHFC is a relaxed, fun place to enjoy these games. We have two trap machines and a skeet field. Games of American Trap, Wobble Trap, Doubles Trap, and American Skeet can be played. Most use 12 gauge shotguns with #7 ½ or #8 shot target loads. Longer barreled guns are an advantage but aren’t required. Non-members are welcome and many members have invited guests who became members because they enjoyed the sport so much.
The Trap fields are located west of the parking lot and directly in front of a small clubhouse which offers plumbing and a kitchen as well as a new sheltered porch. There is an inside sitting room with a picture window to view the events with greater comfort from noise. This is where to check-in and sign-up for games, buy games and shells and daycards for non-members.
The Skeet field is immediately west of the parking lot. We generally shoot on the second and fourth Sunday of a month, but be sure to check the Club Calendar for updates and exceptions. We can shoot rain, shine, or snow under the comfort of canopies, so don’t let poor weather deter you from trying this exciting and dynamic sport.
$10.00 Day Card fee for a non-member (youth $5.00) that is only valid for the Trap and Skeet fields. A game costs $21.00 with shells or $8.00 if you have your own shells.
10+1 game punch cards are available for $80.00
Trap and Skeet shoots are usually every second and fourth Sunday of every month. We start at 11:30am. Please check the calendar of events posted on this website for greater accuracy.
Please note that Trap & Skeet events are CASH ONLY.
