Effective immediately, no crossbow bolts shorter than 20″ may be used on the trail course.
If you see crossbow shooters, please inform them of this update. It seems like we have some members that believe a bolt from their crossbow is more important than all the work put into building and maintaining target butts. This is the third time that target butts have been destroyed in order to retrieve a bolt.
It is a simple process of loosening two tension rods to take the target apart to retrieve, but I guess destroying the target seemed like a better solution… We do also want to thank all of the volunteers who build and maintain the course. Your hard work does not go un-noticed. We will look at organizing a work party when it warms up a bit.
